Not investment advice

• StarPenta studies and materials are software tools for charting and analysis; they are not investment, trading, tax, or legal advice.
• Nothing on this site or in a study is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any instrument.
• You alone decide how (or whether) to trade. Past chart behavior and examples are not predictions of future results.

Trading involves risk

• Trading futures, forex, equities, options, and similar products can result in substantial losses, including loss of more than your initial capital where leverage applies.
• Only trade with money you can afford to lose. Educate yourself on the markets and platforms you use.
• Demo or simulated results can differ from live trading (fills, slippage, fees, emotional factors).

Software and studies “as is”

• Free, trial, and paid studies, downloads, screenshots, and docs are provided without warranties of any kind (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
• Studies may contain bugs, behave differently across symbols/sessions/settings, or break after Sierra Chart or OS updates.
• We do not guarantee uptime, continued free or trial access, support response times, or that a study will meet your needs.
• Fees, Free Supporter contributions, StarPentaPlus trial rules, and our no-refund policy for successful digital purchases are described in the Terms.

Sierra Chart and other third parties

• StarPenta is an independent developer. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sierra Chart (or its owners), except as a third-party study author using their published APIs and authorization mechanisms where applicable.
• Sierra Chart, brokers, data feeds, and exchanges have their own terms, fees, and risks. You are responsible for complying with them.
• Product names and logos of third parties belong to their owners.

Limitation of liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cherry Valley Consulting LLC, StarPenta, and their owners, contractors, and agents are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, data loss, business interruption, or other damages arising from use of (or inability to use) our studies, site, or services, whether based in contract, tort, or otherwise.
• Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent still allowed, and for free studies often to zero fees paid for that study.

Your responsibility

• Verify study behavior in simulation before relying on it live.
• Keep backups of chartbooks and settings you care about.
• Keep your Sierra Chart account credentials private; any passphrase we ask for entitlement is not your Sierra password (see Terms and Privacy).
